Gunmen Kidnap Two Native Doctors In Anambra Community

Two relatives, who are native doctors were, on Thursday, abducted by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers

The two brothers hail from Umungalagu-Igbakwu, but reside in Umungalagu Ivite Aguleri, where they work as native Doctors.

According to report, the two brothers are Ifeanyi Simon popularly known as Mgbo and Okolo Nneke both live in the Umungalagu village of Ivite Aguleri.

It was learnt that they were abducted on Thursday afternoon, at Ubaruisioye junction, when they stoped to change the flat tyre of their Toyota Camry car.

Confirming their abduction in Aguleri, the Community Chairman, Dr Fide Ndigwe, prayed God to intervene in rescuing the victims.

According to him, “We are saddened by their abduction because they are both from Umungalagu-Igbakwu, and also reside in our community here and we pray to God to intervene because their abductors demanded for two million Naira ransom and the brother was able to raise only #300,000, but the abductors are not willing to accept the amount. So, both are still with their abductors”.
