Christians have been charged to ensure that their lives are governed by love and fear of God to experience manifestation of His goodness on earth and ultimately gain eternal life.
In his sermon at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church Ifite Awka, the Vicar, Reverend Father Anthony Okoye said only those, who love and respect God will understand His mystery, greatness, and enter the path of life.
He regretted that presently, people show lack of regard and respect for God, calling for true repentance and worship of God in order to experience His goodness.
Reverend Father Okoye said realizing the mystery of God’s redemption work will make man reverence Him, and reminded all of the biblical passage that said, those, who despise God are disdained, and those, who honor Him are honored, as recorded in first Samuel chapter two verse thirty.
