In a pivotal deliberation hinged on the future of technology and youth empowerment, the Anambra State Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Christian Udechukwu has engaged the team from OUZIIO Engineering Consult Ltd to align with key technological drive on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
OUZIIO Engineering Consult Ltd is a forward-thinking technology innovative solutions in specific industry, software development and specializes in services like cutting-edge software application.
The consultation is armed to explore innovative solutions for addressing youth unemployment through skills development and tech-driven job creation in Oba community proposal.
The Commissioner assured them of the state government’s support in ensuring that their idea remains a skill for which the Oba community becomes renowned and we’ll established in AI. “We are happy to work with Oba skills acquisition outfit, given the introduction of ICT skills and adoption of AI in almost every application of all aspects of the economy and all aspects of life.”
Mr. Udechukwu expressed that technology is one of the new service area of industry that is needed to be developed, adding that technology industry is the future and it encompasses almost every productive sector of the economy. “With many aspects, many ministries of the government becoming involved, we are going to have a committee that will work with you to implement this role and to make the progress known, your idea will be embedded as we plan the next 1 youth 2 skills programme as well as Solution Innovation District (SID) in its next set of programmes.
According to the Commissioner, it is a total and perfect alignment of the stake holders and the community leaders in Oba in a bid to making our youths to be more productive which is in line with the governor’s vision.In a presentation themed, ‘
Accelerating Youth Skilling with Xenese low-code/No-code’, the CEO of the company, Prof. Ben Obinwa highlighted that AI is about liveraging intelligence technologies to provide young people with faster, more effective ways to learn and develop the skills necessary for future careers as the world continues to shift towards a knowledge-based economy and digital-first industries.
Prof. Obinwa noted that the aim of their visit was to familiarize with the commissioner and solicit for government’s partnership and collaborate with the Oba community as it is a strategic town in Anambra State.
He said their mission was to empower business and individuals especially the youths through technology while offering scalable solutions that simplify processes, enhance productivity and unlock new opportunities for growth. “With a talented team of experts, OUZIIO aims to set new standards in the technology sector, ensuring that youths are always a step ahead in an increasingly digital world.
“We want to get our youths to that skill set that would enable them get jobs within their homes, communities as well as work and earn dollars because they can compete with other people.”AI is a key emerging technology which will prepare them for jobs in data science, mechanic learning, robotics, web design, animation and other fast growing fields”.
The Director Industry, Mrs. Josephine Eboh commended the commissioner for his untiring support, commitment and dedication towards youths empowerment and his instrumentality in ease of doing business.
Mrs. Eboh, therefore, urged the commissioner to help enable collaboration between communities and donors like Afrexim bank and other international banks to effect credit facilities for sundry SME’s and entrepreneurs in Oba community.
