Prominent leaders in Enugu State have commended Governor Peter Mbah for his significant impact during his first year in office. At a state banquet held at the Old Government Lodge in Enugu, former governors Jim Nwobodo, Sullivan Chime, and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, along with other dignitaries, praised Mbah’s efforts, saying Enugu is rapidly transforming into a major hub for investment, tourism, and living.
Former governor Sullivan Chime highlighted Mbah’s extensive construction projects and improvements in water supply, which have greatly benefited residents. He encouraged the public to continue supporting the governor, predicting that Mbah’s achievements would speak for themselves.
Chime also recalled facing similar criticisms during his tenure, which later turned into praise once projects were completed. He urged Governor Mbah to remain focused and not be swayed by detractors.
Supporting Chime, former Anambra State governor, Senator Jim Nwobodo, emphasized the importance of patience and support for the governor’s vision, asserting that good work takes time to manifest.
