Lagos Truck Accident Kills 9

It was a dark Sunday at Ojuelegba, inwards Fadeyi in Lagos state when a 20 feet container laden truck fell on a commercial bus, killing 9 people.

According to reports, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency ,LASEMA, were available to help rescue and evacuate people.

Permanent Secretary of LASEMA Olufemi Oke- Osanyintolu said that the nine victims involved four males, three adult females, a girl and a boy child. One woman was extricated alive and taken to the trauma centre.

Further investigations revealed that the bus was picking up passengers when the truck lost control and fell over the side of the bridge, falling on the bus.
