Mrs Chinwe Orizu has been confirmed the chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress of the Anambra State Chapter by the National body of the Congress.
In a letter signed by the General Secretary, Emmanuel Ugboaja and made available to the public on Tuesday,the National body commended the leadership of comrade Jerry Nnubia for convening the valedictory meeting in compliance with the directive of the National Secretariat of Congress, which was prompted by his retirement from service .
The statement also congratulated the former vice chairperson of the council who has taken over as the chairperson of the state chapter of the Congress as being responsible for piloting Congress activities in the state council. It is also expected that she will bring to bear her experience to drive the demanding job for the good of Congress and workers in Anambra state.
The National body assured the state chapter of it’s continued support with Anambra State Council.
