Wife of Anambra State Governor, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano has commended the people of Idemili South LGA for largely observing the preventive measures outlined by the Government to stem COVID-19 pandemic.
She made this observation known at Ojoto, Headquarters of Idemili South Local Government Area (LGA) in continuation of her state-wide tour.
The tour was aimed at empowering the indigent women, widows and the less privileged individuals.
Mrs Obiano enjoined mothers in the area to teach and ensure that their children take water to school for drinking and washing of their hands each time they want to eat and after returning from playgrounds.
She also told them to inculcate the habit of cleanliness in their children by telling them to make sure that their face masks were washed and worn properly for their safety.
She said that staying steadfast in observing the COVID-19 protocols, is the only reliable way to curb the spread of the virus.
