Leaders and representatives from various ethnic nationalities and professional bodies in the Niger Delta have expressed their gratitude for the renewed peace in the region, highlighting the significant transformations in its narrative.
They acknowledged the pivotal role of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) in fostering sustainable development and community empowerment.
A statement issued by prominent stakeholders, including Prof. Benjamin Okaba, Sen. Emmanuel Ibok Essien, and numerous others emphasised the steadfast support from the Federal Government and the National Assembly for the Niger Delta through the NDDC.
The leaders noted that the President’s commitment to the region has been instrumental in enhancing the operations of the NDDC, enabling it to fulfil its mandate more effectively.
