The Nigerian Bar Association has offered free legal support to Comfort Emmanson, the Ibom Air passenger accused of assaulting a flight crew member.

The NBA condemned the airline’s handling of the case, including her lifetime flight ban, calling it reckless, unlawful, and a violation of her dignity and privacy.

According to the NBA, Emmanson was forcibly removed, stripped in public, and humiliated in a widely circulated video.

The association argued that only regulators, not airlines, can ban passengers, and demanded the ban’s withdrawal, a public apology, and a full investigation.
