Nigeria records 36,663 Confirmed new cases of Coronavirus.

Nigeria has recorded 556 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 36,663.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Edo state recorded the highest number of new cases on Sunday July 19 with 104 new cases, followed by Lagos state with 97 new cases.

Below is the breakdown of newly confirmed cases of Coronavirus as reported by NCDC which captured all the states with new cases.

Nigeria has so far recorded 36,663 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with 15,105 cases treated and discharged as well as 789 deaths.

In order to keep safe from contracting the virus, it is best to obey the directives from NCDC, such as frequent washing of hands, maintining social/physical distancing, wearing of face mask when in public and avoiding crowds.
