‘Nigerian Eagle shall fly’ – Tinubu sends message to world leaders

The President-elect , Bola Tinubu has appreciated world leaders who have congratulated him for winning the February 25 Presidential election.

He said that this is a good time to believe in the Nigerian dream and to revive hope that the Nigerian eagle shall fly high.

Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has come under heavy criticism from different parts of the country for declaring him the winner and the two main opposition parties , Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party, who have taken him and the ruling party ,All Progressive Congress to court , challenging the win.

On the popular social media platform, Twitter, some Nigerians have also accused world leaders who have sent in congratulatory messages of aiding to stifle democracy in Nigeria.

Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak have particularly come under fire for their congratulatory messages to Bola Tinubu.
