The State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Anambra State Command, Comandant. David Bille, yesterday, received in audience, the new Comptroller of Immigration, Anambra State Command, Mr AD Eche, and his management team on a courtesy visit to the command.
Speaking during the visit, The Comptroller of Immigration, Mr Eche, said the visit was predicated on the need to have an effective working relationship with other sister security agencies towards seamless flow of information amongst major stakeholders on security issues in the state.
He noted that in having NSCDC in the Same Ministry of Interior, there was need for the two agencies to combine both human resources and wisdom to nip crime in the bud.
Responding, the State Commandant of NSCDC, Commandant Bille, appreciated the Comptroller for the visit and assured him of the Command’s readiness to work with Immigration Service in any area of their choice.
He informed the Comptroller of robust relationship existing among all the services in the state, courtesy of Governor Willie Obiano’s pragmatic and examplary leadership.
The visit ended with both parties agreeing to maintain the existing working relationship among the two agencies.
