Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state, has urged the new Assistant Inspector-General of Police in-charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, Anambra State, Garba Mukaddas to be proactive on security.
The Governor gave the charge when the AIG paid him a courtesy visit at his Aguleri country home, to introduce himself to the6 Governor and discuss updates on security issues, aimed at beefing up security of lives and property in the State.
During the visit, AIG Mukaddas was presented with an official vehicle, while the governor also assured him of strong partnership for the good of the state.
Speaking to journalists, the AIG expressed gratitude to the Governor for the warm reception, assuring that they will work hard to confront and reduce crime in the State.
