Ogun state police refute the claims that a police station in the state was attacked by hoodlums

The Ogun state police command has refuted the claims that a police station in the state was attacked by hoodlums as circulated on Social media .

The police public relations officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi in a statement on Tuesday, and made public to journalists , said that the station shown on social media was erroneously identified as Ogijo divisional headquarters in Ogun state.

Abimbola said that the circulating video was a robbery incident that happened in Osun state where a bank and a police station was attacked by armed robbers and reaffirmed that the Ogijo police station is intact.

The Ogun police Command advised members of the public to disregard the information that the incident happened in Ogijo , as such never happened in Ogun state.

Abimbola shared the photographs of Ogijo divisional headquarters as of Tuesday morning to clear all doubts.
