Oji Uno Eme Ogo foundation, the cooperate social responsibility outlet founded and funded by Chief Anthony Okafor has produced yet another sets graduate on Wednesday 23rd November 2022. They are Miss Justina Adora Onyekelu, a native of Mbaukwu in the Awka South council Area of Anambra State, where as are others are from other nieghboring towns.

Miss Adora courageously confirmed to kpakpando that she graduated with second-class upper in the department of English and Igbo Linguistics, from the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

A highly excited Miss Justina took to her Facebook page to celebrate her graduation and said, “Five years no be five days, Oji Uno Eme Ogo made it possible”.

The statement said “Thank you Daddy and Mummy for being a beacon of hope to me and my family. Today I’m a proud UNN graduate courtesy of your singular efforts and commitments”

“Daddy” referring to Chief Anthony Okafor who was honored and commended by His Majesty Igwe PN Anugwu for his numerous humanitarian gestures and philanthropism in the community, saying “Even if the earth did not reward you, which is not possible, you will never escape blessings from heavens for being a helper to me and all of us your foundation has provided and has continued to provide blankets of financial protection all through our University days”

“Daddy, I assure you, I will continue to be a dependable and proud Ambassador of your foundation, Oji Uno Eme Ogo foundation and by extension, the Mbaukwu community” The statement further stated.

Congratulating Mrs. Justina, Chief Anthony explained how he met the latest UNN graduate at a Mass at St Dominic Catholic Mbaukwu where Miss Justina sang and also lead in the Chorister.

Chief Anthony disclosed that Lil Miss Justina narrated she had concluded her secondary education a few years back and had been struggling to enroll in any tertiary institution but that there is no hope, citing finance as the reason. He said it was at that point that he provided her money for Jamb and Post UTME and afterward, awarded her a full scholarship till graduation.

Oji Uno Eme Ogo however described today as one of the best day of his life, seeing her daughter graduate from the University with second-class honors, further describing her as a “Lioness” fully decorated, and armed with talents and zeals for excellence.

Recalled that Chief Anthony Okafor had earlier in the year, disbursed the sum of 6.5 million Naira to 20 persons who indicated interest to venture into agro-based businesses and also spent close to two million naira in school fees and college tuitions which returned hundreds of pupils and students who had left their various classroom back to classrooms.

This time, Chief Anthony Okafor has announced that he will be awarding scholarships till the final year to 10 Mbaukwu indigenes, at two persons per village.

According to him, he will pay the school fees of those that will be shortlisted yearly and they must be studying in any of the federal or state universities in Nigeria. Private Universities are excluded.

He however reiterated that he will continue to channel his resources into policies and programs such as this, particularly to those who critically deserved to be assisted and empowered, to pull many families out of abject poverty and hopelessness.
