Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has called on former President Ibrahim Babangida to name those involved in the annulment of the June 12, 1993, presidential election won by the late MKO Abiola. Speaking to journalists, Kalu urged IBB to write a second edition of his autobiography to reveal the roles played by his deputy, the late General Sani Abacha, and election commission chairman Humphrey Nwosu.
Kalu also called on President Bola Tinubu to honor Abiola posthumously and include his portrait among Nigeria’s past presidents. On the 2027 elections, he affirmed that the APC stands firmly behind Tinubu for a second term.
