Two suspected ritualists have have been arrested by police in Oyo State.
The Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, said the suspects, Ismailia Wasiu and Mutairu Shittu, are now assisting the police to unravel the syndicate behind the deadly trend of trafficking in human parts
The PPRO informed that residents of Ayakale Saju area of Oyo state, on Monday, alleged that the two, Ismaila Wasillu 29, and Mutairu 35, were in possession of a fresh human head.
Osifeso said that police immediately swung into action, raided the area, picked the suspects, and recovered fresh human head.
He said they also recovered the disembered body of the victim identified as one Mujudat.
Preliminary investigation revealed that victim was lured from Lagos through phone calls by one of the suspects, Ismaila, before they killed her
He added that Investigation is on going.
