The Oyo State Government has announced that 15,000 candidates will participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) for recruitment into the state’s civil service.
Kamoru Aderibigbe, Chairman of the State Civil Service Commission, disclosed this in Ibadan, stating that the test will run from Monday, November 25, to Thursday, November 28, 2024.
Governor Seyi Makinde approved the recruitment of 900 officers across over 60 cadres in ministries, departments, and agencies. Out of 22,235 applications received, 67% were deemed qualified for the test.
Candidates have been grouped by cadre to sit at designated centres, with some taking the test at the Arch. Bamidele Samson CBT Centre and others at the Distance Learning CBT Centre. Invitations have been sent, and applicants are advised to bring their application forms and slips to their sessions.
