Peter Obi Denies Circulating Campaign Posters for 2023 Presidency

The Vice-Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 election, Mr Peter Obi, has denied circulating his campaign posters for 2023 presidency.

In a statement made available by his Media Office, Obi, noting that his office had been lately inundated with clarifications on his Presidential posters being circulated online. stated that he was not in any way connected to, or authorised anybody to promote such on his behalf.

According to the statement, Obi is a faithful party man and he will abide by the final position of his party on the issue.

It added that he frowns on people’s preoccupation with the next election when the situation in the country urgently calls for all hands to be on deck towards the restoration of security, eradication of poverty, creation of jobs, improving education and making health care accessible in the country – issues which are Obi’s concerns at the moment.
