Peter Obi, Labour Party’s presidential candidate, has denied sponsoring the recent protests in Nigeria.
Speaking at a Rotary International event in Awka over the weekend, Obi attributed the unrest to issues like hunger, unemployment, inflation, corruption, and poverty. He emphasized the need for youth to express their views lawfully and peacefully.
Obi urged leaders to listen to and support the youth, highlighting their critical role in national development. Addressing comments about his perceived political weakness, Obi reaffirmed his commitment to integrity and focus in his political journey.
