Police in Oyo State have apprehended 20 suspected Yoruba nation agitators following their alleged invasion of the state’s House of Assembly complex in Ibadan on Saturday.
According to the police spokesman in Oyo State, Adewale Osifeso, the suspects were arrested with a cache of weapons, including three pump action guns, 29 live cartridges, and assorted cutlasses. Additionally, they were found in possession of Oodua Nation paraphernalia, including camouflage uniforms and berets, as well as public address systems and vehicles.
