Kannywood Actress Rahama Sadau has debunked allegations that she was arrested and facing a death sentence.
She took to her Twitter page to say that she has been receiving messages about her arrest and has no idea where the lies emanated from.
She called on people, especially , those peddling such fake news to sell their blog sites or to cause unnecessary unrest to stop while assuring her fans that she is safe and fine.
She said that this is a hard time for her and would appreciate that the rumour peddlers desist from doing so.
It would be recalled that Rahaman posted her picture where she wore a beige coloured backless evening gown on social media some days ago.
The picture had much negative backlash from her fans and generated some blasphemous comments against the holy prophet.
