In line with his ‘Help’ agenda in delivering people-oriented legislative governance for his Constituents, The Member Representing Awka North and South Federal Constituency at the green chambers, Rep. Sam Chinedu Onwuaso has continued to put smiles on the faces of his constituents as he has given Car and Cash gift which he said was aimed at rejiging rural economy of Awka North and South federal constituency .
This deliberate, calculated approach, according to the federal lawmaker, has in the last one year seen over fifteen Youths Entrepreneurs & Agro-Preneurs which were selected across the Federal Constituency, gifted with new vehicles and Cash gifts to sustain their tempo in their chosen entrepreneurial activities.
In this phase, our Correspondent Udoka Nwokoye, reports that Engr. Anene Moses Chigozie, Mr. Ifesinachi Maduebo and Mr. Nwankwo Emmanuel who are respectively from Nibo in Obizi Awka South constituency 2, Umuokpu- Awka in Awka South constituency A and Achalla in Awka North, were gifted new vehicles and cash gifts to boost their day to day economic activities.
Handing over the vehicles to the beneficiaries, Engr. Onwuaso noted that entrepreneurial activities has its inherent value- chain that makes mobility-factor one of the top key enablers needed to be able to harness the economies of scale of the value-chain, urging the beneficiaries to take responsibility and ownership of the vehicle by maintaining them for optimal use and result.
He also urged them to unleash the power of the private sector, SMEs and their corresponding value-chain on the local economy of Awka North and South federal constituency through employment creation, which he noted that he empowered them to further create jobs, solve problems in their respective family and immediate environment.
Mr. Nwankwo Emmanuel from Achalla in Awka North, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, thanked Engr. Onwuaso for Cash and car gifts saying that the federal lawmaker has once again reaffirmed that he is people oriented lawmaker.
While admitting that the car gift to them was spot-on and came at a time they earnestly need them as noted it will assist them in maintaining timely supply chain of their Agro-based bussineses, he however assured the Congressman that they will continue to maintain the vehicle for optimal use, even as he revealed that cash gift will also enable them expand their bussines and employ more hands.
It would be recalled that over 15 persons selected across Awka South constituency 1, Obizi Constituency 2 and Awka North had benefitted from this gesture which the Lawmaker promised that more people will be captured in the policy framework and get empowered in the next phase to solve societal problems.
Some of other beneficiaries include Mr. Ngozi Okeke, Mr. Stephen Ajaegbo, Mr. Nwokoye Onyekachi, Mr. Friday Nnonyelu among others.
