…collapses his GOC Grassroot Structure into AAC
A former Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Revd. Godwin Okonkwo has endorsed the governorship candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), in the November 6 governorship election, Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo (Overdose). Revd. Godwin Okonkwo popularly known as GOC went further to collapse his grassroot structure into the Overdose movement.
While accepting the endorsement, the elated Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo noted that his new political party, African Action Congress (AAC) today is more acceptable to Ndi Anambra than the ruling APGA and APC combined. He thanked them for joining the winning team, AAC and endorsing his candidacy.
He charged them to go back to their base and proclaim to their friends, families and associates that they are now with the Overdose Movement. Speaking further, Dr. Chido said that his governorship project was not his personal project but that of God. He declared that the governorship journey will end in Glory because he is the only candidate in the election with an untainted integrity capital.
Dr. Chido concluded by extolling the virtue of Revd. Godwin Okonkwo who he described as a true man of God for listening to the Holy Spirit and endorsing his candidacy.
In his speech the Coordinator of the GOC Structure, Revd. Chibunna Nwafor said that they joined the governorship project of Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo because they are convinced that in this November 6 governorship election, the winner will be someone who is devoid of any fraudulent history and Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo is the only candidate that is clean.
He also said that they have total confidence in Revd. Godwin Okonkwo which is why they listened to him when he mandated his entire structure to join Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo and change the narrative of governance in Anambra State.
An powerful independent group in the GOC structure known as the Women of Faith were also well represented with their Leader expressing happiness that their group is rooting for a decent man like Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo. She promised to mobilize the thousands of women who are members of the group across the state on November 6 to vote for Dr. Chidozie Nwankwo of the AAC.
Chief Uchenna Okonkwo Okom thanked the members of the GOC structure for the declaration of support and assured them that the New Anambra project is going to succeed with Dr. Chido emerging as governor. He emphasized that the difference between winning and losing in this election will be down to organization and meticulous person to person campaign.
He concluded by saying that one thing that is certain in this election is that no godfather or group of godfathers can impose a governor on Anambra State again.
