Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor has Stated that the Christmas Season is a Season of Reconciliation with God

The Catholic bishop of Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor has the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ as celebration of  reconciliation with God and humans, showing of love, and alms-giving.

Bishop Ezeokafor who stated this at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cathedral, Awka while delivering Christmas message said that reconciliation with God and humans was the ideal way to celebrate the Christmas.

The charismatic Prelate expressed gratitude to God for making it possible for those whom he said were alive to be part of the 2020 Christmas and 2021 New Year, especially in this era of COVID-19.

 According to him , Life is the most important thing man has and therefore every humans should have every reason to thank Gid almighty and pray him to sustain us all. 

Ndi Obizi have been enjoined to be their brothers keeper especially during this yelutide season as Christmas Cheer is all about sharing the good things of life with family members and neighbours. 

The remark was made when Kpakpando crew paid the Igwe of Mbaukwu, Igwe P N Anugwu a courtesy visit in his Palace . 

Igwe Anugwu reminded everyone that Christmas is a special period to meditate on the birth of Jesus and its meaning for Christians all over the world. He stated that Christians should emulate the character of Jesus by showing love to people around them and sowing the seed of peace everywhere. 

He also used the opportunity to thank God for standing by Nigerians and the Nigerian government in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and giving them wisdom to roll out measures to manage and contain the spread of the virus. 

He therefore, asked Ndi Mbaukwu , Ndi Obizi and Nigerians at large to be careful and endeavour to observe all covid-19 preventive protocols such as wearing of face mask, washing of hands with soap and water, using hand sanitizer and maintaining social and physical distancing.
