The Nigerian Senate says it is yet to receive the Certified True Copy of the judgment concerning Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension.Senate spokesperson Yemi Adaramodu, in a Sunday statement, acknowledged that the Federal High Court delivered a ruling on July 4.However, he said the Senate cannot act without officially receiving and reviewing the court’s enrolled order.He explained that legal representatives in court noted that the full judgment was not read out, and no clear order nullifying the suspension has been served.Adaramodu added that the Senate is committed to due process and will act only after a proper legal review.He urged the public to be patient while the red chamber awaits formal service of the court document.
