Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Dr Orji Uzo Kalu has commended the entrepreneurial spirit of Dr Stanley Uzochukwu. Senator Orji Uzor Kalu made this known on Thursday at Stanel World during the press briefing for the Stanel Youths Empowerment Master Class holding today, Friday 12th February, at Stanel World Awka, Enugu Onitsha Expressway.
Commending Dr Uzochukwu for his good works in pulling the youths from idleness and crime, the senator praised him for being apolitical. He also charged the state government to collaborate with the traditional rulers , village heads to control security in the state.
Speaking to jounalists, the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Stanel Group, Dr Uzochukwu Stanley, stated that Stanel Group is prepared to host the Nation’s leaders and youth for this year’s Stanley Youths Empowerment Master Class. Explaining, he said the aim of the Master Class is to re – mould the youths and take their minds off crime and criminalities and empower them to be able to live their dreams. He said that the Political and Business elites of the country would be in Awka to sensitize the youths while he has also introduced his personal Empowerment grant into the event.
The three days event will start today with the Stanley Youth Empowerment Master Class followed by a Stanel Concert on Saturday and Love Affairs on Valentine’s day.
He called out to everyone to be involved in the human capital development agenda as the youths are prepared to be profitably engaged.
Concerning the Covid-19 non pharmaceutical protocols, he said adequate measures have been taken to sanitize the venue. He also said that there sanitized booths have been installed with infrared thermometers made available for temperature checks, with over 10,000 face masks and hand sanitizers to be given to all participants.
The maiden edition of Stanel Youths Empowerment Master Class was held in 2019 with the likes of Dr Herbert Nwaigwe of Access Bank PLC, Dr Cosmos Maduka of Coscharis Group and Dr Allen Onyeama present at the event.
