Senator Nwoye felicitate with Cardinal Arinze on 58th episcopal ordination

The Senator representing the people of Anambra North Senatorial District, Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye,on Tuesday ,extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Eminence Francis Cardinal Arinze.
Cardinal Arinze, formerly the Prefect for the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments and currently the Cardinal Bishop of Velletri-Segni, is commemorating the 58th Anniversary of his episcopal ordination. Sen.

Dr. Tony Nwoye conveyed his well-wishes for more glorious years of dedicated service to God.

Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye’s congratulatory message expressed his unity with the presbyterium, religious individuals, and the lay faithful of the Onitsha Archdiocese, particularly where the celebrant served as Archbishop. He also joined the global Christian community in celebrating the Eziowele-born Cardinal, who was considered as a potential candidate during the papal conclave that elected Pope Benedict XVI in 2005.

The Senator highlightsed the positive outcomes of Cardinal Arinze’s pastoral ministry. Notably, since his consecration as Bishop on August 29, 1965, becoming the world’s youngest Roman Catholic Bishop at the time, Cardinal Arinze has consistently upheld his motto May the Kingdom of Christ flourish.

As the Most Reverend Eminence Cardinal Arinze, marks this significant day, Sen. Dr. Tony Nwoye offered prayers for increased grace, a sharp intellect, enhanced strength, and wisdom for the esteemed shepherd.
