We begin in Anambra State, where the state Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has reassured of his commitment of his administration to deliver on all promised mandate.
Governor Soludo gave the assurance at the Cathedral Church of Saint Faith, Awka,during a special service, organized by the state government in commemoration of the Nigeria’s sixty-two Independence Celebration, coming up on Saturday, October one, 2022.
Our Correspondent reports that Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, expressed confidence that he will not fail Ndi Anambra, but will deliver all campaign promises to the later.
Governor Soludo noted that the present administration is passionate about the sufferings of the masses and is daily making efforts to ensure that the living standard of Ndi Anambra is significantly improved.
He advised residents of the state to be law abiding and support the revolutionary plans of the present administration, that has zero tolerance for violence or any act, capable of truncating its vision.
Earlier in a sermon, the Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, represented by the Assistant Administration Officer, Venerable Rex Kanu, regretted the height of corruption prevailing in Nigeria and warned leaders at all levels to have a rethink and ensure equitable distribution of democracy dividends to avoid divine wrath.
Dignitaries that graced the occasion were the state Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, Chief of Staff, Mr. Earnest Ezeajughi, Commissioners, Head of Service, Barrister Theodora Igwegbe, among others.
