Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullah Aminu from Yobe State has made history by winning the 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals in London, emerging as the World Best in English Language Skills.
Representing Nigeria through the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), Nafisa outperformed over 20,000 participants from 69 countries , including native English-speaking nations.
Her family credited her victory to discipline, strong academic support, and the educational investments of Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Nafisa’s win has sparked celebrations across Nigeria, with calls for state and national honours to recognize her exceptional achievement.
