He lamented the numerous hardships the citizens are passing through such as poverty, which he noted, is clearly written on people’s faces, insecurity which he said, has become Nigeria’s biggest nightmare among others.

“I am worried that people asked for school fees of about N20,000. I have a foundation to reach out to the poor, especially the brilliant ones who have good results but no money to train them.

He called on government at all levels to ensure Nigerians are well fed and secure to enable them cast their votes in the 2023 general elections.

“I am assuring you that with me as a Senator, you will have a senator with a difference. I am going into the senate to bring the desired change the people need. We have been having people who have been unleashing hardship on the people. They promised what they have no intention to do. It is time we stop those who promise what they cannot do.”

The Senatorial candidate said he is going to give his people quality representation, noting that as a representative of the people, he would consult widely with them at all times.

He further pointed out that if elected the senator representing Anambra Central, he would bring on board everybody to be able to understand their needs, stressing, “the same set of people who have been representing us have failed and it is time to change them.”

“I am not worried or interested about those people manipulating the electoral process to win election. Our people are now politically educated and they will vote right this time during the election,” he said.

Umeadi also revealed that he has been reaching out to the people through Dr Anthony Chinedu Umeadi Foundation to encourage and empower students, the youths and women, adding that being in the Senate will enable him do more.

“I have my foundation. We use  to empower the youths reducing the poverty in the communities and also treating people with health challenges. There is a limit one can do as an individual. I thought I can do more as a senator” he said.
