The joy of Mrs Josephine Anajemba and Mrs Evelyn Okonkwo from Nnewi community in Nnewi North and Nise community in Awka South council Area In Anambra knew no bound as they were handed a Morden state of art two room Apartments each which was donated by Zimuzo foundation a cooperate social responsibility project of a gubernatorial aspirant on the platform of All progressive Congress Chief Dr George moughalu .
The handover ceremony which took place at Nise and Nnewi attracted community leaders, Reverend Fathers, market women and party faithfuls.
In his remarks, the president of Zimuzo foundation and Managing Director, Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority Chief Dr. George Muoghalu described Zimuzo foundation as a humanitarian Course he founded over twelves ago with which he has developed committed framework aimed at bringing emancipation of the poor and downtrodden in the society through scholarships, skill acquisition and interest free loan for market women across the Nation.
Chief Muoghalu further described the housing projects as a project that will cut across the twenty one local government Area of the state, promising that in coming days those of Anambra west and East local governments Areas of which were built in line with specification to withstand flooding will be commissioned and handed over to the beneficiaries.
He then thanked the All Progressive Congress Ward chairmen of the respective wards of the beneficiaries for an orderly covid 19 compliant outing while urging the beneficiaries to manage the apartment approprately.
Mrs Josephine Anajemba and Mrs Evelyn Okonkwo in an interview with our correspondent thanked The donor Chief Muoghalu for the gift and prayed for Gods blessing in his future endeavours and exploits.
Pastor Chima Eze of True salvation ministry and Mr. Henry Chukwuma Okeke thanked the donor for his usual humanitarian involvement with Ndi Anambra and prayed God to grant him journey mercy back to his destination .
Other high point of the events were, courtesy call to the traditional ruler of Nise Kingdom His Royal Highness Igwe Romanus Iloh who presented some harvested Agric produce to the donor.
