23 Internet Fraudsters Arrested In Enugu By EFCC Operatives

Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said they arrested 23 suspected internet fraudsters.
The Commission in a statement issued on Wednesday, 15th May 2024, said the suspects were arrested on May 10, 2024, in Igboeze, Nsukka, and Enugu metropolis
According to EFCC, the arrest followed actionable intelligence concerning their alleged online criminal activities.
Items recovered from them include; three cars, mobile phones, laptops, one Point Of Sale (POS) machine, and several incriminating documents.
It informed that the suspected fraudsters will be charged to court as soon as the conclude investigations.
