The 2023 Governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections has produced great victory for women , especially in the Month of March, which is generally seen as the month of women.
On Sunday, as women from some churches celebrated the Mother’s day , women in Nigeria celebrated the election of some females into power.
It was a historic moment in Kwara state as 26 year old Rukayat Shittu , who has politically been active in her constituency, won a seat in the Kwara state House of Assembly.
Also in Enugu, a female, Obiajulu Princess Ugwu won a seat for the Enugu South Rural Constituency in Enugu State House of Assembly.
