President Bola Tinubu will confer national honours on select lawmakers on June 12 as part of Democracy Day celebrations.
According to House Spokesperson Akin Rotimi Jr., the event includes a special joint sitting of the National Assembly where Tinubu is expected to address legislators.
The theme is “26 Years of Democracy: Renewing Our Commitment to National Development.”
Rotimi emphasized the significance of the occasion in Nigeria’s democratic journey and called for renewed patriotism and unity among Nigerians.
