Anambra CP Grants Request to Bury Three Children Found Dead Inside Fridge in Nnewi
Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, has granted the request of the family of the three children found dead inside a fridge at Nnewi, for their release for burial.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, in a statement on Saturday, pointed out that CP Orutugu acknowledged the grief that the bereaved parents are going through.
The CP assured the family of swift police action when necessary, pending the outcome of the medical findings to complete the ongoing investigation.
He further stated that the Command is working diligently to unravel the circumstances surrounding the heartbreaking incident.
The Command hinted that the details of the investigation are still incomplete, but urged Ndi Anambra and all concerned to be patient, appealing for continuous cooperation from the community to provide justice for the victims and their families.
