
Anambra State will partner the Military Cantonment, Onitsha, to upgrade their hospital for optimal performance.
The State Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala, disclosed this after inspecting the Cantonment’s M.R.S. Hospital at the Onitsha Barrack, and assured of Governor Willie Obiano’s committed towards improved healthcare service delivery for officers through functional healthcare system.
He said that the State Government has been collaborating with the Military in providing healthcare services for officers in the barrack, including COVID-19 vaccination, and commended them for their efforts in maintaining the hospital.
Responding, the Commander of Onitsha Military Cantonment, Colonel A.B. Usman, and the Doctor-In-Charge of the Military hospital, Captain CP Enuma, commended the State Government for its continued support, and appealed for more assistance.
