According to Dr Igbokwe, the Chief Executive Officer Of Well New Me, they used 27 indicators that measured performance in four domains important to policymakers, providers, patients and the public in terms of care process, access, equity and healthcare outcomes.
The results showed Anambra state has the most efficient health care system in the country, closely followed by Osun, Ogun, Lagos and Rivers states to make up the top five states.
Dr Igbokwe also said that the ranking exposes the geographical disparity in healthcare service availability and delivery across the country.
