Anambra POWA Donates Food Items To Less Privileged

Police Officers Wives Association in Anambra State has donated foodstuffs and other materials worth over Seven hundred thousand Naira, (N700,000) to two Care Giving Centers in the State.

The executive of POWA, Anambra State Chapter led by its Chairperson, Mrs Bolanle Adeoye, visited Divine Mercy Orphanage Home, Amawbia and Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled, Old, and Tramps (RECDOT) in Ozubulu and made the presentations.

The Chairperson called on public-spirited individuals to do more for the less privileged in our society.

Responding, the Managers of the Care Centres thanked POWA Members for the visit, saying that it cheered up the people under their care. They promised to ensure that the donated items were used solely for the benefit of their wards.
