Anambra State Govt has disolved the Nnewi Zone Executive of Anambra State Market Amalgamated Traders Association, ASMATA.
A Press release signed by the Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Trades and Markets, Chief Evarist UBA said the Chairman, Chief Leonard Onwuatuegwu, together with his Zonal Executives have been disbanded with immediate effect.
The release said this was as a result of engaging in acts capable of causing the breach of public peace.
It directed them to hand over all the records of the zonal office in their custody to the President General of ASMATA, Chief Humphrey Anuna.
The release further stated that any instructions that are contrary to this emanating from the disbanded officials should be completely disregarded by the members of the public.
