Anambra State Judicial Panel of Inquiry yesterday adjourned hearings pending when logistics will be provided by the Anambra state government.
Chijioke Ifediora, one of the youth representatives made the announcement yesterday evening on his Twitter page.
He said that no logistics has been made available or reached the Judicial Panel for the operation of the panel since it’s inception , which, he noted has affected the panel.
It will be recalled that Anambra state has 115 petitions against SARS and police extrajudicial killing.
On another note, a lawyer , Abdul Mahmud , also yesterday, raised an objection with respect to the pictures of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Willie Obiano. He said that the panel is an independent Judicial Panel and not an Executive Panel and said that the pictures could be a ground for bias.
In their reply, the Panel noted that the hall is a rented one but will notify those who leased the hall for the sitting with respect to the aforementioned pictures and other pictures of Town Union presidents in the hall.
