As the world recently marked the International Youths Day, more well meaning citizens have continued to identify with the youths in view of their strategic roles in the existence and development of any nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Anambra State Coordinator, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Kehinde Aremu, charged youths in the state to ensure they remain useful in their youthful age in order to build and sustain the confidence reposed in them by both government and the governed.

Aremu who gave the charge in Awka during an occasion to commemorate the Day, reiterated the slogan that youths are the future leaders, insisting that it was time youths were fully integrated into all levels of governance.
He extolled the youths for their ingenuity and also commended Governor Obiano for injecting youths into his administration, saying the move, though risky, had largely paid off as many of them have proved themselves capable in various positions of trust.
He noted that Anambra state has the most youth friendly government and policies in Nigeria, and has always taken giant leap by bringing young people into governance.
The State NYSC Coordinator expressed delight that the youths have not disappointed the State and are reciprocating government gesture by contributing their quota in the development of the State.
According to him, the success recorded has provided the template for youth inclusiveness in Nigeria in governance and also the reason other state governments are beginning to look at the potentials of youths in governance than keep claiming that they are future leaders.
Aremu also appreciated the state government for its magnanimity to the NYSC especially in the area of renumeration, opportunities and facilities to young people in the state.
