Anambra Women protest lingering court cases ahead of November 6 Governorship election in the State.

Women from the twenty-one local government areas of Anambra State, under the umbrella of Anambra Women for Peace and Growth Initiative, have staged a peaceful protest following lingering Court cases, which they noted, can affect the November 6 governorship election.

The concerned women carried placards and banners with inscriptions such as “Say no to supreme Court governor”, “Anambra Women want a free, fair and credible election”, declaring support for the present administration in the state.

Speaking, the leader of the women, Mrs. Joy Otuadimma, affirmed that Anambra women are determined to contribute their quota to the peace and progress of the state.

She posited that Anambra State deserves steady growth and development for the sake of posterity,

Mrs. Otuadimma further called on all Anambra Women to be part of the ongoing voter registration exercise in other to have a stake in making a governor that will work for Ndi Anambra.
