ANSEC Approves More Contracts In Anambra
Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved contract for the renovation of Urban Secondary School, Nkpor, Idemili North LGA. The contract was awarded at the sum of 127,954,177.43 (one hundred and twenty-seven million, nine hundred and fifty-four thousand, one seventy-seven Naira forty-three kobo). The contract was awarded to WILLEZ Construction Company, and the project timeline is 5 months. The decision was reached at the 32nd Anambra State Executive Council Meeting held at the ANSIEC Chamber, Govenment House, Awka, on Tuesday, 22nd October, 2024. The Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, who disclosed this during the Post ANSEC meeting, also informed that contract was also awarded for the- Construction of the iconic Light of the Nation Tower and water fountain, awarded at the sum of 640,208,219.45 (six hundred and four million, two hundred and eight thousand, two hundred and nineteen Naira forty-five kobo). This contract was awarded to IMES Construction Company, and the project timeline is 4 months. Commissioner Mefor further revealed that contract for the Construction of the in-house doctors’ residential quarters at the Okpoko General Hospital, was awarded to Crystal Dove Construction Company Ltd, at the sum of 43,295,290.00 (forty-three million, two hundred and ninety-five thousand, two hundred and ninety Naira). The expected project timeline is 3 months. According to Mefor, ANSEC also awarded contract for the renovation of the Rehabilitation Centre at Nteje, Oyi LGA, at the sum of 76,718,090.98 (seventy-six million, seven hundred and eighteen thousand, ninety Naira, ninety-eight kobo). The contract was awarded to Resca Services Ltd., and the project timeline is 3 months.
