ARCHBISHOP IBEZIM, VALENTINE OZIGBO, OTHERS GRACE UNUBI ANGLICAN COMMUNION DIOCESE FOURTH SYNOD

Valentine Ozigbo, the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp Plc, was one of the dignitaries who joined the Archbishop of Ecclesiastical Province on the Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Reverend Alexander Ibezim, in attending the 3rd Meeting of the Fourth Synod of the Anglican Communion, Diocese of Amichi.

The event, which held on Saturday, October 17, 2020, was attended by a host of dignitaries including Honourable Johnboscoe Anebube, the lawmaker representing Nnewi South Constituency in the State Assembly and Honourable Tim Egboka, a former state lawmaker, as well as a prominent business mogul, Chief Ichie Sunday Ezeobiora.

Mr Ozigbo, speaking at the event which took place at
Ebenezer Anglican Church, Unubi, commended the host Bishop, Right Reverend Ikeakor, for his “landmark achievements in the diocese and beyond”.

The renowned business leader also encouraged the Bishop to do more to uplift the church, the community, and humanity.

Bishop Ikeakor who expressed joy at the visit, welcomed Mr Ozigbo and other dignataries, and encouraged them to support the church’s social responsibility projects.

Ozigbo and members of his campaign organisation who joined him at the event, made donations to the church’s community development projects.

Valentine Ozigbo is the leading Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2021 Anambra governorship election.
