Governor of Kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has said he will sack all the Kaduna State University (KASU) lecturers if they fail to return to work.

Speaking on a radio programme in Kaduna on Wednesday, El-Rufai
said that the Acting Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University , KASU, has assured him that they will resume but he said he heard that some lecturers collected their pay and still joined the strike and those that did that will be made to refund the salary as Nigeria’s law says ‘no work, no pay’.

He said that the KASU lecturers have no problem with the State government and that ASUU’s problem is with the Federal government.

He said that if it continues like that and they don’t come back to work, he will sack them all and declare their positions vacant on the pages of newspapers.
