Awka Monarch applauds Soludo’s Development Strides

The traditional ruler of Awka, Obi Gibson Nwosu, has expressed satisfaction with the pace of road projects in Awka and other communities in the state.
In a press statement in Awka, the royal father also called for the tarring of roads connecting his Palace in the town.
The royal father pledged their continued support to the present Administration as it means well for the people.
In their remarks, an APGA stalwart and indigene of Awka, Chief Arthur Nwachukwu, and Mrs Grace Agumadu, recounted the ordeal residents of the area go through during rainy seasons, and explained that the video showing the flooding in the social media attracted the attention of the Governor who, immediately swung into action and Mobilised contractors to the site.
The two residents made it known that flood had killed many people in the area, and had almost drowned the oldest man in the town.
They commended the Governor’s quick intervention and assured that APGA faithful in Ward Five will continue to cast their votes for APGA.
Reacting also, the oldest man in Awka, Otochalu Ikwunne Ijeoma, Ozo Emma Ugochukwu and Ozo Mike Onwuasor, thanked Governor Chukwuma Soludo for remembering the Awka people in his Road construction plans.
