Former housemate and second runner up in the reality TV show, Big Brother Naija lockdown edition,
Rebecca Nengi Hampson, has been appointed a senior special assistant to the Bayelsa State governor, Douye Diri.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Daniel Alabrah, confirmed the appointment to journalists at her homecoming visit to the governor on Friday.
Nengi who is an entrepreneur, model and ex-beauty Queen was appointed by governor Diri as the Senior Special Assistant on Girl Child development she was also unveiled as the face of Bayelsa state.
