Buhari appoints Oluwatoyin Madein Nigeria’s first female Accountant General

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Mrs. Oluwatoyin Madein as the substantive Accountant-General of the Federation.

Her appointment takes immediate effect, according to a Friday statement by the Director of Communications, Office of the Head of Civil Service, Mohammed Ahmed.

The statement noted that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the appointment of Dr. Oluwatoyin, as the substantive Accountant-General of the Federation following the successful conduct of a selection process to fill the existing vacancy,
