President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday said he met with His Royal Majesty, King Charles III in Buckingham Palace to foster Nigeria’s bilateral relationship with the United Kingdom.
In an interview after meeting the 73-year-old monarch, Buhari said King Charles III asked him whether he has a house in the UK or not which President Buhari answered he has none.
On the purpose of his visit to the revered monarch, Buhari said Nigeria is a large market and it is only wise for the business relationship between the two countries to be nurtured.
Furthermore, the President said there is no going back on the planned redesign of the N1,000, N500 and N200 bank notes, adding that politicians won’t be allowed to mobilise resource.
